Forever In My Heart
Forever In My Heart is a program which helps pet parents financially cover the costs associated with helping their pet cross the Rainbow Bridge. Should you need assistance, please send an email to willowickpetfoodpantry@gmail.com with the following details:
  • Name and phone number of the veterinarian who will perform the service
  • Your full name
  • Name of your pet

We will contact your veterinarian to verify that the pet is in fact terminally ill and requires assistance crossing the bridge. Any other reason for euthanasia does not qualify. You must also be receiving government assistance, or be having significant financial difficulty to qualify. The maximum amount contributed by the pantry is $75 and will be paid directly to the veterinarian. No exceptions.
Dick Goddard Memorial Educational Fund
Goals:
  • To better educate the public on how to care for pets while at the same time reducing the population of potential pets residing in shelters. This gives them a better opportunity to live a happy, healthy life.
  • Assist rescues with achieving a greater number of adoptions.
Who Qualifies:
  • The program is open to all (only one individual per household) who is adopting dog(s) or cat(s) for the first time from a qualified shelter or rescue. The shelter or rescue must be a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. National/international shelters and/or rescues are excluded from participation in this program.
  • Individuals who adopt senior dog(s) or cat(s) do NOT need to be first time adopters and will receive and additional incentive; a $25 gift card to the pet store of their choice.
  • Only one adoption per year qualifies for the Educational Memorial Fund.
  • The Program will begin September 1, 2020. Those who adopted during the month of August 2020 qualify to participate in the program as well. A certificate of completion will be mailed to participants upon completion.
